Nantucket Magazine
Brian has worked with Nantucket Magazine for over ten years. He began his career by helping the magazine grow their social media presence through taking and posting a single photograph every day for six months. Each year, he climbed the ranks, from photographing the magazine’s society pages, to important assignments and notable cover stories. Success in these areas led to Brian being named the magazine’s Chief Photographer in 2017.
The Portfolio
During Brian’s tenure as Chief Photographer, he created a number of memorable covers, stories, including the magazine’s first woman of color cover, featuring Charity Grace. Brian photographed notable subjects, including but not limited to, Vice President Mike Pence, 2020 Presidential Candidate Pete Buttigedge, former Presidential Chief of Staff Andy Card, Charles Schwab, Bill Bishop, Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary, winner of The Voice, Brynn Cartelli, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Camille Kostek, iconic music producer Charles Goldstruck, film producer Rory Kennedy, authors Nathaniel Philbrick and William Cohan, among others. In 2021, Brian was awarded “Third Place: Personality Photo” by New England Better Newspaper Competition for his photography work on the feature: Leading Ladies.
In 2022 Brian took a step back from the role of Chief Photographer in order to focus on his first son, Grayson, as well as his own commercial & fine art photography projects. Brian currently serves as Nantucket Magazine’s Head Fashion Photographer, overseeing shooting and production of the NVogue editorial for each issue.
